Los Campesinos! Release New More Hell EP: Listen

Los Campesinos! the return continues. After returning in July with their first album since 2017, All hellnow they're releasing the accompanying EP More Hell. In a statement, the band's Gareth David said: 'Secret Stars' 'Wait' was included on a mixtape a friend made for me when I was a teenager. For years, this tape dub was the only way I had to hear the song, and I played it over and over again. Not long after, I would buy the Death Cab You can play these songs with chords CD and I was blown away when I heard their version. I loved it, too, and it became a staple of the love letter mix CDs I would make for others. At some point, I found a junk MP3 on Soulseek, but I would keep going back to the tape until 2012 when someone uploaded the original version of the song to YouTube. A rip of the vinyl audio, played over a 7″ video spinning on a turntable. It feels kind of perfect that the original, 30 years after its release, still hasn't made it to streaming.
