Nicki Minaj is first sneaker collection is now available, the rapper announced on Instagram on Friday (April 12). Minaj collaborated with loci, a sustainable sneaker and apparel brand, to release a sneaker collection consisting of 11 designs available in its signature pink as well as other colorways, including white and blue as well as white and red sneakers.
The Nicki Minaj x Loci The collection “epitomizes Nicki's bold and vibrant style,” according to a statement from her brand Website. The collection is available in men's and women's sizes and combines high-fashion chic with a street style aesthetic.
The collection ranges in price from $185 to $200, and each shoe features a royalty-inspired Nicki Minaj stamp on the tongue. The seal is an ode to Minaj's “Queen of Rap reign” and Loqi's British roots.
Minaj called the new collection “a dream come true” in a previous Instagram post. “4/12 = 11 new pairs of MY sneakers. 11 completely different designs to choose from. An absolute dream come true. Can't wait for you to see my 1st collection!!!! Link in bio to JOIN NOW,” he wrote last month. “Thank you to my team for helping me make this dream come true. This is not a sponsorship.
