Sabrina Carpenter gets a kiss on the cheek from Barry Keoghan while getting ready for the Met Gala

Sabrina Carpenter's appearance at the 2024 Met Gala wasn't quite complete before Barry Keoghan added the finishing touch: a kiss on the cheek.

In an adorable moment from Fashionrecently shared video of the “Feather” singer getting ready for the red carpet on Monday (May 5), the Saltburn The star crashed the party to get a first look at his famous girlfriend's glittering gown. As he walked in, already dressed in his brown jacket and top hat, Carpenter's face lit up as he called out, “Baby!”

“Oh, s–t,” she said in awe when she saw it Work it Inspirational look by actress Brigitte Bardot.

She then gave Carpenter a big kiss on the cheek as she wrapped her arms around his neck. When it was time to head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the annual fashion extravaganza takes place on the first Monday of May each year, they both wished each other great Fashion Good evening viewers.

Shortly after, the stars – who have been dating since the beginning of the year – posed separately on the red carpet, Carpenter modeling a custom black and baby blue Oscar De La Renta gown. On the side of the carpet, they took a quick photo together.

This year, the event was co-chaired by Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Hemsworth and featured a guest list that included Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Camila Cabello, Lizzo and dozens more stars. Also in attendance was Demi Lovato, whose silver dress designed by Prabal Gurung was a favorite of Carpenter's.
