Thomas Rhett will debut his boots in 2025 when the Better In Boots tour kicks off in June.
The Live Nation-produced tour will bring Thomas Rhett's high-energy show and cascade of nearly two dozen No. 1 hits Bulletin board The Country Airplay chart reaches 30 cities across North America, in states like New York, Virginia, Florida and Georgia. “Wind Up Missin' You” creator Tucker Wetmore will provide direct support on the tour, while “Austin” singer Dasha and sister trio The Castellows will appear at select shows.
The tour will follow Thomas Rhett's seventh album About a womanwhich was released in August. The album includes “Don't Wanna Dance”, which interpolates Whitney Houston's smash hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, as well as songs such as “Fool”, “Can't Love You Anymore” and “Overdrive”, which draw inspiration from artists such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Alan Jackson and the Rolling Stones.
five-time Grammy nominee Rhett recently said Bulletin board about another song from the album, “Church,” which pays homage to the music of fellow country singer Eric Church, as well as Rhett's love story with his wife, Lauren.
“That's Lauren's favorite on the album, because when we were in high school, I used to buy [Church’s] Caroline record, which was his second album,” he says. “I had to buy a new copy every three months because I barely wore it. He kept getting sidetracked – but he was like our very own Zach Bryan. He was this dude who was kind of on the radio, but he could care less if he was or not, and he was kind of grumpy and said things in songs that most people wouldn't say. I learned the whole album on acoustic guitar and whenever we were at a party, that's all I played — so that song means a lot to us because it was the soundtrack to our teenage years.”
tickets for most of the Better In Boots tour dates go on sale Friday, September 20 at 10am. local time Thomas Retof the site, with the rest of the shows rolling out in the coming weeks.
