It's the third win for debutant singer-songwriter Xavi as he lands his third No.1 Bulletin boardRegional Mexican Airplay chart with latest single “#OOTD” as the song speeds 6-1 and leads the chart dated August 31.
For those unfamiliar with the term, “#OOTD” stands for “outfit of the day,” often used by Instagram and TikTok influencers who share fashion content on those social apps—the theme of the song released on the 29 June at Interscope/ICLG.
THE sierreño The guitar-driven “#OOTD” leads Regional Mexican Airplay after a 43% vault to 6.7 million audience impressions, earned in the US during the August 16-22 tracking week according to Luminate.
Thanks to that 43% surge, “#OOTD” earns the week's Greatest Gainer awards, given weekly to the song with the biggest audience gain among the top 40 titles. This audience increase comes from Univision stations WOJO-FM (Chicago), KSCA-FM (Los Angeles) and KLNO-FM (Dallas) during the tracking period.
“#OOTD” awards Mexican-American Xavi his third Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1 among four career hits, all in just six months. The 19-year-old, who has quickly become a force in the genre, stepped into the research with 'La Diabla', for a week at the helm in February. The latter also claims the longest top honors on the Hot Latin Songs 2024 metric, along with FloyyMenor and Cris Mj's “Gata Only,” which dominated for 14 weeks this year. “Corazón de Piedra” followed as Xavi's second topper in Regional Mexican Airplay, ruling for two weeks between May and June. Top No. 20 “La Víctima” (March) completes his four total appearances on the chart.
Elsewhere, the audience gain propels “#OOTD” up 14-3 on the overall Latin Airplay chart, for a tie with its last top 10 hit via “Corazón De Piedra” (June's No. 3 high).
Thanks to its radio presence, “#OOTD” joins “Corazón” on Hot Latin Songs, where it also goes 39-30.
