Wedding planning is difficult for everyone, even Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus — especially considering the health challenges she's faced this year.
In a new trailer released Thursday (November 7) for the upcoming three-parter E! documentary Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Storythe 25-year-old bride-to-be details the struggles of her marriage to fiancé Wayne Deuce before opening up about the stroke she suffered earlier this year. “My health was failing,” she recalls in the two-minute teaser with footage of her in the hospital.
“The doctor comes in, 'Cory, you've had a stroke,'” continues Brondus, who is also fighting the Wolf. “I hurt, I'm afraid. Why is this happening to me?'
The documentary preview — which premieres Dec. 5 and also finds Broadus struggling with her relationship with Deuce and battling online trolls who accuse the groom of only being with her for influence — comes nearly a year after the Broadus revealed on Instagram Stories that he would “Had a major stroke” in January. “I started crying when they told me,” she wrote at the time. “I'm only 24. What did I do in my past to deserve all this?”
A little while later, Snoop said People that his daughter was “doing a little better” and agreed that the scare had put his life in perspective. The 53-year-old rapper shares Cori with wife Shante Broadus, along with sons Corde and Cordell. He also has a son named Julian from a previous relationship.
Elsewhere in the trailer for Snoop Dogg's paternitythe “Drop It Like It's Hot” artist gives his daughter advice on planning her lavish wedding, which is set to cater to a 750-person guest list. “You have your life together…whatever you want, show it,” he tells her before squashing Cori's dream of having Justin Bieber attend the big event. “You have too many divine dreams!”
But, as Cori says in the clip: “I'm a princess, so a princess has to do it a lot.”
